Rachel-Anne’s niche is non-fiction storytellling.

She has a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design, with a concentration on documentary photography. There she attended classes at Brown University. The single recipient of all three writing and art awards in her class at Columbia Prep, she finds editing the perfect tool for storytelling in a visceral way.

After RISD, she returned home to New York City and began a working relationship with film editor James Lyons on several features and projects, which led her to work in documentary television.

When she’s not editing, you may find her volunteering, DJing, or taking pictures of a house on fire. Her documentary photos have been featured in New York’s Daily News and the New York Post. You may also know her as “The Human Dolly”, a name she earned shooting film on roller skates. Her work as a videographer has been featured on PBS’ “Art21”, Fujisankei TV and in Victoria’s Secret videos.
